George Bush goes to a primary school to give a speech.

After his talk he offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand and George asks him  what his name is.

Boy: “Bob”.

George: “And what is your question, Bob?”

Bob: “I have 3 questions.

First, why did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN?
Second, why are you President when Kerry got more votes?
And third, what happened to Osama Bin Laden?”

Just then the bell rings for recess. George Bush informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess.

When they resume George says, “OK, where were we? Oh that’s right – question time. Who has a question?”

A different little boy puts up his hand. George points him out and asks him what his name is. “Steve”

George: “And what is your question, Steve?”

Steve: “I have 5 questions.

And as Twitter stays down like a well-trained dog who was ordered to SIT and STAY….. I thought to myself WHAT oh dear God WHAT….can one do while you can tweet no more…. *sniffs, wipes tears rolling down his cheeks*

Update (11:53p): We’re still working through this issue and dealing with some timeline inconsistencies (seeing updates from folks you don’t follow).

Update (2:10a): We’re testing to make sure everything is in a good state before bringing the web servers out of maintenance.

Update (2:20a): We’re out of maintenance. You may see updates from users you do not follow. This problem should not recur.

Yes! Twitter IS down…again…….

After refreshing and trying differnet internet links, anonymous proxies, sending pings and what nots and still seeing an ever-loading Twitter.com address…….finally my favorite (not) animal…..mammal…hmm… in the whole wide world showed up! Aww…its sleeping againnn…cuuuute…..  *cursing*

Oh! Great! Yea do that! Upgrade the affected database annnnd take your time. No really! And while you’re at it, make me a tuna sandwich with extra mayo please! *sigh*

So let us create a NEW Twitter…a BETTER Twitter…a Twitter that is FREEEEE……from down time I meant…
